GEORGIA PRACTICE REPORT
Article by
Aug 15, 2005
ATHENS-----The Georgia Bulldogs continued preseason workouts, holding a two-hour session in full pads here Friday.

"It was a tough, grueling practice, and we fought through it to complete our eighth workout of camp," said Georgia coach Mark Richt. "That's what's going to happen in games, there will be times when you will be tired, but you got to suck it up and play, and we did that today."

Richt added he has been pleased with the play and leadership displayed by the seniors thus far in camp. When the subject turned to the Bulldog wide receivers, Richt said they are getting tougher, and their effort has been good. "The last few days, the receivers are making more plays then they are missing," said Richt. "It will be nice when we get a few more back because we've got some that are injured. With our numbers, the true freshmen probably will all end up contributing. They will all get a chance."

Georgia will hold its second session of two-a-day practices Saturday.

The Bulldogs play host to Boise State Sept. 3. Kickoff is slated for 5:30 p.m., and the game will be televised by ESPN. All Georgia games are broadcast live on the Bulldog Radio Network on AM 750 WSB in Atlanta and 106.1 FM in Athens.
